Corporate Services
In today’s fast paced society, with ever increasing demands in the work place, people need tools to manage their reactions to mounting stresses. Absenteeism, inappropriate outbursts at work, low morale, interpersonal conflicts, and poor work performance, signal an anger problem in the workplace.
Schneider Family Services Founder, Jay Schneider, L.C.S.W., created a successful program to correct problem workplace anger before it causes excessive damage. On average approximately 1400 people are killed each year at work. Another 2 million people will be assaulted. Unresolved hostility can fester and become dangerous. Companies supply safer workplaces by providing quality anger management training to all employees. Studies demonstrate that anger management training can significantly improve the workplace in the following ways:
- Employees report reduced subjective stress.
- Improved relationships with co-workers.
- Increase in productivity.
- Improved employee morale.
- Supervisors report improvement in their management skills.
- Lowered employee turnover rates.
- Reduced retraining costs.
Our customized, affordable and effective trainings can save you money, reduce your risk and increase productivity.

Manage Anger Daily (M.A.D.) Anger management classes for adults:
Manage Anger Daily is an effective, inspiring, affordable program for those who wish to reduce the intensity and frequency of their angry feelings and behaviors. Participants learn to improve relationships at home and at work by gaining mastery over troublesome emotions. A feeling of empowerment occurs naturally when individuals learn to Manage Anger Daily.
Our M.A.D. training utilizes a textbook, over 100 pages of handouts, group participation exercises, and humor, to help people learn to have better relationships, and to feel better about themselves. Class participants develop a personalized plan that targets their individual concerns in a supportive, entertaining atmosphere.
M.A.D. classes are offered several times a year. Each class meeting is one hour and 30 minutes in length. Refreshments are provided. Students learn about the biology, physiology and psychology of anger, as well as common myths about anger. The latest cognitive and behavioral strategies are practiced in class to give participants hands-on experience handling their anger effectively. Participants learn techniques for staying calm in anger-provoking situations. Powerful communication skills that reduce conflict and strengthen relationships are explored. Proven methods for avoiding “emotional hijacking” are provided.
M.A.D. 2 is a class for graduates of the M.A.D. program who wish to continue to strengthen their anger management skills in a supportive environment. M.A.D For Teens:
anger management classes for teens ages 13 to 17:
Many teen-agers have trouble coping with feelings of anger, and can act out in destructive ways. Family conflicts, divorce, drugs, peer pressure, and the physiological changes of adolescence are factors which contribute to teen anger. M.A.D for Teens addresses all of these concerns within a small class setting. Music, drawing, dramatic skits, and group participation exercises are all designed to teach teen-agers how to manage their anger appropriately in a fun atmosphere. Teen-agers target a specific angry behavior they wish to change during the course of the class. They monitor their progress and share with the group their success stories.
M.A.D For Teens classes consist of seven meetings each of which are one hour and 30 minutes in length. The first and last meetings include parents and teens together. The first meeting provides parents and teens with an overview of anger management theory and practice, and gives parents tips for coping with the angry adolescent. Sessions 2 through 6 are for teens only. In these class meetings teens learn to prevent, minimize and contain unhealthy anger. They learn their anger personality type, and several ways to cope with hostile feelings. In the final class, session 7 students share their work and progress. We explore parents concerns and offer strategies and recommendations for each student. Students take home a folder of their work and receive a certificate of completion. Refreshments are provided in a supportive and comfortable office setting.
